PHOTOGRAPHY AND FASHION SHOW; Shoot the Catwalk

Are you ready to enter the world of Milan Fashion Week? This course is your ticket to the show! Come learn about fashion and how to capture professional images at the shows in the heart of the action of one of most important events in the industry, Milan Fashion Week. During the first part of the course students will learn about the key concepts of fashion, the elements of the fashion show, and the shooting and post production techniques for producing quality look-book and fashion show shots. Then we will take these skills to Milan Fashion Week shows where students will have the chance to attend and shoot at the shows.

INTENSIVE PROFESSIONAL COURSE

The Intensive Professional Photography Course (IPPC) prepares students to be effective visual communicators by providing comprehensive training of technical skills and theoretical knowledge through an intensive learning process over seven months. Through an optimal balance of theoretical and practical lessons in all the fundamental courses, including photographic technique, portrait, still life, fashion, landscape, post production and more, this comprehensive program provides students with the creative sensibility, personal style and critical vision necessary to translate the trends and values of today’s society into images.

What makes this course even more unique is its particular emphasis on Italian strengths like Fashion and Design. By engaging students in lessons and projects during some of the most internationally prestigious events that take place in Milan throughout the year such as Milan Fashion Week and the International Design Fair (Salone di Mobile) students have the opportunity to expand their cultural horizons and interact with innovative thinkers in a global context.

This 10 weeks course focuses on giving a solid technical and creative preparation in fashion photography. Through shooting experience in the studio with portraits and still life, fashion and beauty and shooting on location, the course gives a thorough preparation to manage with autonomy a fashion shoot. We enriched the program with seminars on development of personal style and management of photographic projects, essential elements for a contemporary fashion photographer.

PHOTOGRAPHY & FASHION; When Photography Meets Fashion

This unique course brings together the key concepts of both photography and fashion to provide students with introductory knowledge and skills in fashion photography. Emphasizing both technical photography skills and fashion industry insight, this course gives the student a well rounded understanding of the business of fashion and the role of the fashion photographer within the industry. To provide the student a real 'insider' perspective, this course also includes interactions with established fashion photographers, fashion designers, fashion magazines and modeling agencies.

Photojournalism, Documentary and Photo Story

This 10 weeks course focuses on giving a solid technical and creative preparation in reportage photography. Course aimed at giving an overview of the different kinds of reportage: social, documentary, geopolitical and more. The teachers/photographers recount, through their own pluriannual experience, the profession of the photojournalist: the context, dynamics, equipment. The course, through the language of photography and techniques of shooting outdoors, helps to understand and solve the problems that a photojournalist may encounter in any reportage field. We enriched the program with seminars on development of personal style and management of photographic projects, essential elements for any contemporary photographer.
