Modern, Functional, Artistic

Istituto Italiano di Fotografia is located in Milan, in the Brenta-Corvetto district, within an urban space characterized by schools, ex-factories, and laboratories.
Not far from Porta Romana, six metro stops from the Duomo, the school allows you to be close to the center and at the same time away from traffic, also due to the presence of the small park on which it overlooks. Ideal for a school, a talent forge and a factory of ideas.
Formerly the seat of Jacaranda Studios and originally part of a former Pirelli industrial building, the IIF headquarters (which runs on two floors for a total of about 700 square meters) is significant and essential for the early twentieth-century iron carpentry. Alongside materials such as wood and glass, which give origin to an ideal scenario for photographic shots.
The available spaces designed for the world of fashion and design, are conceptually suitable for hosting a School of Photography.

IIF virtual tour

On the ground floor, the large space of 300 square meters hosts the reception, the computer room (equipped with iMac and scanner), the assistants’ area, a coffee break corner and two studios with spaces separable with the movable wall that allows versatile use of space. On the first floor, an open space with windows is reserved for the offices, while two other day-light studios can be transformed into areas dedicated to theory lessons and teaching in general.
